The countdown to the 2026-27 British cyclocross season is almost over, and there is a genuine sense of optimism surrounding the domestic scene. With a revamped National Trophy calendar, the return of the UCI Cyclo-cross World Cup to Britain, and an exciting crop of emerging riders, the coming winter promises to be one of the most compelling in recent years.
British Cycling has confirmed a six-round Lloyds National Trophy Series, beginning in Derby during October before travelling to the new venue of Pontypool, Cyclopark, Shrewsbury and concluding with a double-header at Peel Park in Bradford. The National Championships will take place in Clanfield in January, providing a fitting climax to the domestic title race.
